Hello? Been almost a month…I’d like to do some things with the room but need help getting it re-registered…
I am a member of a board for people who love, get this, flashlights. Yup, I love them too, watch out–it’s higly adictive. No I know what you’re thinking but many of our best members joined thinking just that! (Just to prove I know what you were thinking, you’re thinking “Flashlights?!? That’s nuts)
It’s a crazy hobby–for example, how many people here would buy a $200 flashlight?? That’s what I though–how about $30? Well let me tell you, the Arc AAA ($30) is about the best bang for yer buck flashlight anywhere!
Anyway, chat is a fun way for us to get together in realtime and shoot the breeze. We have had one big event (The president from Arc flashlight, maker of the $200 AND $30 light mentioned above came by) and are just gearing up for another. It’s a blast and I hope ChattersOnline doesn’t go away any time soon. I hope it doesn’t go pay either, but I’d pay if it did–as long as it was reasonable! I’m a poor 16 year old 😮
Do a virus scan Dave! My sister got this eMail and her computer started acting funny and she kept getting it over and over again…finally got some virus software and she has a virus…it IS a virus I promice!

Is there a way to change the color of text in private messages? I really want to make sure people read my greeting when they come into the room…if possible. Also, when and how much is pay service going to be? $10 and maybe even $20 a year I can handle but I am not made of money! I know you are not made of money either and that is why you are coming out with pay service, that’s fine with me.
Oh cool, will try. I had searched for “greeting” but wasn’t really finding anything, but I’ll try this.

I’ll just explain the whole situation to you. Normally the chat room is a free-for-all but on Saturday we are having a guest so it will be moderated. I want a messae that goes out to you when you come in that exaplins that, either said by the bot or otherwise. If we can only do it to registered users that’s fine because we will jsut manually message unregistered people. My other operator and I were messing around with the bot and what we could get was it to greet us with a greeting WE each created, what we couldn’t get was me writing a greeting and then the bot say it to him when he comes in. I think this is just the fault of a simple bot command I am not typing in…meaning the bot only does the greeting to me, but I am not sure.
Well I used the code generator to see what needed to be changed but I did not want to try to regenerate the whole room and get all the colors the same…I updated some colors at another time and updating the HTML tag worked perfectly, what I did exactly is changed the “Title Text Color” field from 0,0,0 to 255,255,0 and this changed the title of my chatroom to yellow but, like I said before, not the part where it lists the topic. According to the code generator they’re governed by the same field…
