OK I have somone besides me who has a problem. He can’t connect. I will wade through all the other “can’t connect” posts and see what I can find but until then…
I get to the blue box that says “CPF Chat, and ‘Welcome to ChattersOnline (myname)!!! Connecting to Milwaukee.US.ChattersOnline.com6669…..’
that’s as far as I get…
He has let it sit for 10 minutes or longer and still never makes it to the room.

He is using a G3 Macintosh with OS 9.1 and IE 5.1. I will ask about a firewall but I do not think he is using one. I would just give him directions to use anoter IRC client like mIRC but I guess that doesn’t work anymore??
Macs are not supported as well. Have them try downloading Netscape 4.7x and use that to connect. On his OS this is a better browser to use for the chat applet.
(I would recommend him upgrading to OSX and Netscape 6.0 for much better performance though)

Is there a way to change the color of text in private messages? I really want to make sure people read my greeting when they come into the room…if possible. Also, when and how much is pay service going to be? $10 and maybe even $20 a year I can handle but I am not made of money! I know you are not made of money either and that is why you are coming out with pay service, that’s fine with me.
