I along with a few others trying to access the chat room are behind broadband routers (NAT).
When connecting, I get the following messages
*** Looking up your hostname…
*** Checking ident…
*** Checking for open socks server…
*** Couldn’t resolve hostname
*** No ident response
Then I am finally dropped into the chat room. It takes between 30 – 60 seconds for this to happen. Once in the chat room, very few of the functions in the drop down list boxes work. I have tried this on 3 different systems and they all behave the same. It may have something to do with being behind the NAT and then app not collecting the necessary info it needs to work correctly.
An example error is when I click on the commands drop down list and select “give a small hug”. I get a java index array out of bounds error. This occurs when I select some of the actions on the right graphical menu.
