You created your room?

Is your nick registered?

Lets start with that. To do so, log in with the nick you want. Then in your chat window type:

/nickserv register urpassword uremail

(ex) /nickserv register Chatters [email protected]

After this, you will need to IDENTIFY yourself. Type:

/IDENTIFY urpassword

(ex) /IDENTIFY Chatters

Next you will register the room while in it.

/chanserv register #Gaming_Universe password description

(ex)/chanserv register #Gaming_Universe Gamers A room for all the die heart gamers!

Now the channel should be registered. Do all of this and then come back and post when you have completed this.

You will now be auto-oped everytime you go into the room and identify yourself. For other people to also be, you need to get them to register their names the same way you did.

Then once they have registered and identified you will need to add them to the list like this:

/chanserv AOP #channel add nick
