If you have followed the steps in “Chat Room FAQ” to gain full control of your room then all you will need to do is identify with NickServ and then type the following command: /chanserv op

If you have not taken any further steps to control your room then it is not registered on the chat server. The only way to gain op status back is to have the room clear out and then be the first one to enter it.
