How do I register my room and register my room to my name (FlyinBryan4) so that I am the OP every time I come into the room?
June 3, 2002 at 1:34 am #1025First you need to register your name
/nickserv REGISTER <password> <email>
Then you need to IDENTIFY yourself
/IDENTIFY password
Now you need to register your room
/chanserv REGISTER <#room> <password> <description>
Nowevery time you go into your room just identify yourself and you should be oped. If you have any problems please look for Avenger or I in #BackChat or just post again.

When I left the chat room and came back in to see if everything still worked, it didn’t. I couldn’t identify myself because it said my password was invalid and it did not OP me because it didn’t recognize me as FlyinBryan4, what should I do now?
PS: How do I get into this “Back Chat”?
June 6, 2002 at 9:48 pm #1029Hi Bryan,
You can’t get to “Back Chat” at this moment so please disregard.
did you add the < and > into your password? You didn’t need to. That was to outline her example.
If your password is yaddayadda you would type:
/nickserv identify yaddayadda
Also, if you use the advanced chat room it provides a place to enter your nickname password so your automaticly identified and auto op’d by chanserv.

June 8, 2002 at 1:29 am #1036Send me an email at [email protected] with your password. I’ll check to see if it’s correct. Also, use the same email address you have signed up with so I know it is you.
