To add a new room moderator/operator the room first needs to be registered and the room’s owner must be identified with NickServ.

If using the basic room type the following:

/chanserv access #RoomName add NickName 5

or if using the advanced room click on the “CHANSERV” drop down menu and then click on “access add” and enter the information at the prompt boxes.

The default levels of 5 or 10 will allow for room operator access. Change #RoomName to the name of your room and make sure it begins with the # character. Change NickName to the registered nickname of your choice. NickName must be a registered nickname.
