i type in /chanserv register #channel #password #email then it says you must be channel operator to register..( how to i become a channel operator)??????
shadiYou need to register your nick and then /identify yourself
/nickserv REGISTER password
/identify password
Now try registering the channel/room

it says you must be a channel operator to register this channel
shadiYou made sure it registered your nickname and you are identified with the right nick and password?
What channel are you trying to register?
~~~Misty~~~{@ Im the little one...and mysterious oneWhatever channel you’re trying to register, you must first be an op in that room/channel you’re registering. Go to that channel (Channel u’re registering) and make sure u’re op there. Than try and register again. Hope that helps abit.
ahh im gettin the same problem….i have the @ next to my name then i type /chanserv register channel **puts password here** **description here**
it wouldnt already be registered would it?? and is there any restrictions like no special charecters in password or anythin???
ok never mind…i had an @ but i wasnt channel operater. is there anywhere with info on what you get when you upgrade an how you upgrade?? im not sure if i will yet, i just wanna learn how to use it first an wether people will use it. so far its goin good apart from the strugle to find out how to register the channel name.
