mIRC instead of applet

    I’m chatting with some youth at http://www.encounterwithgod.com and they have a room #GodSquadOnlineYouthGroup

    the server is Milwaukee.US.ChattersOnline.com

    216.200.173.133 7070

    Can this room be entered using mIRC instead of the java applet that they have on their website. If so could you give me the details.

    I connected to the Milwaukee IRC server, but there were no rooms.

    Well then when you connect you will need to /identify your name and such and type /join #GodSquadOnlineYouthGroup

    Maybe I’m not getting some of the info right.

    Server: Milwaukee.Us.ChattersOnline.com

    Port: 7070

    Group: #GodSquadOnlineYouthGroup

    Thats most of the info that I’m using,but can’t seem to get on the right network. What is your specific network that I need to add to my list??

    Do NOT fill in the group box. Just press connect.

    Once connected type /join #the room name

    You should be able to connect with the information Misty supplied. You will not be able to see a channel/room list though. You need to know the name of the room you are joining and type that in exactly following the /join command:

    /join #GodSquadOnlineYouthGroup

    Hope that helps.
