Hi, I am the creator/admin/founder of my chat room and am trying to forbid a certain nickname from being used. When I try to use the nickserv forbid command it keeps telling me access denied, even though I logged in and set my OP privilage upon entrance thus giving me the all mighty @ symbol and complete control over my chat room. Please tell me what to do in this situation so I can forbid nicknames that I don`t want registering in my chat room, (the name I want to keep out has not been registed yet so I can not ban them, the only thing for me to do is forbid.)

    Thank you for your time.-Piper

Since we use all the same irc server it is for an normal room owner not possible to forbid a nickname. Only irc admin’s can do. So sorry it is not possible.

You can try register the nicknames yourself and protect them with a password and kill-option.

Thank you for getting back with me and for answering my question, it`s all good now, I don`t think the person I wanted to forbid will be coming back.
