I created a chatroom and when i logon im auto oped then when someone else logons on they tell me theres a ~ next to my name instead of @. But i see @ and they dont and i got all the powers of an op also no one can pm me either but i can pm them. If i logout and back in they tell me theres 2 of me one with the ~ and one with @ and they can pm the me with the @. Am i doing something wrong for this to happen or is there something i didnt do that makes this happen?
seems ya got a clone there lol. its not a big deal actually.

im in #Dedicated or #PreciousMoments if u need any help k (:ok i guess i didnt explain it that well when i logon and no one is in the chatroom i see that im an op but when someone else logs on they all see ~Sesshomaru and when they try to pm me it says no such nick/channel also when i talk it shows my name as Sesshomaru/#Sesshomaru. if i logoff and someone is still in the chatroom it still shows that ~Sesshomaru is there and i tried the ghost command and it said nick Sesshomaru isnt currently in use. then if someone is in the chatroom when i log back on it shows @Sesshomaru and still shows ~Sesshomaru and i tried the ghost command again and it kicks @Sesshomaru but not ~Sesshomaru it still shows it there. ok i hope that clarifies my problems.

First when you PM, PM to Sesshomaru and not @Sesshomaru or ~Sesshomaru cause the @ and ~ are only commands, and not at your nickname!
Second, you do have a clone, you can only kick that clone but not yourself, so if you are logged in and you see your nickname twice, you can only kick the clone, not your own nickname!
I think you are the other one the ~Sesshomaru and not the @Sesshomaru, that will explain your problem.Further Sesshomaru/#Sesshomaru when you talk is normal, that shows the others you are the founder of the room!
i do PM to Sesshomaru and it says no such nick/channel. and the thing with the clone I DONT SEE IT only other people do and only when i logon Sesshomaru and logon again and with Sessy (so im loged on twice one as Sesshomaru one as Sessy) is how i can see the clone and i tried to kick the clone but it kicks me Sesshomaru and still shows the clone and after that if i try to kick the clone it says nick Sesshomaru isnt currently in use but it still shows it there. and is there anyway to change when i talk it shows my name as Sesshomaru/#Sesshomaru cuz i just dont like it. oh *sigh* im just confused

And further.. That clone.. I logged on and saw nothing. I just think it’s a missundestanding.
I also said before that your nick is like that when you talk because of you are the room owner
You cannot change that.. First off i changed it 3 days ago so Sesshomaru wasnt the founder anymore and how did you do all that stuff when i wasnt there?
? and yes with the new founder the clone is there. so i just skipped the whole founder thing and put it on another nick and only use it when i need to keep the founder nick registered. but i still want to know why if you the founder it seems to mess everything up? ?Quote:

That isn’t the problem. You have to receive it when you log in. Try to do /memoserv read new
If you don’t have any. Your own settings are wrong why you don’t receive PM’s. Like you set a limit or something or you turned receiving PM’s off.

It sounds really weird there is a clone when you are in there. Don’t you have a bot called you? Or do you disconnect? Cause then there can be a ghost of you like there was said before.

For so far I know ChattersOnline works fine. So every problem has to be there because of the people themselves. If you want to show me please give me a Screenshot.
ok yeah i did get the those PMs but thats not the PMs im talking about i mean the PMs when you double click on someones name and it only doesnt work when you do it to the founder.
i dont know what the hell that “clone” or “ghost” is but it only shows up when the founder is in the chatroom and i dont have anys bots.
i thought the problem was becuz of me or something i did but i know someone who used Mirc and said i didnt do anything wrong everything was fine but he saw what it was doing and told me everything was not fine and he couldnt figure out why either.
how do you take a screenshot? it would be easyer if you just meet me in my chatroom if you can.
I think you turned whispers off! So nobody can get you to private chat. Or they try to talk to that ‘clone’
But, yes, when are you online? Give a time I need to come into the chatbox.. I am very interesting in what is going on here
