ParticipantHi, I have put up a page to test my chat room but I am having trouble understanding all the commands. Am I right in thinking that I have to add the nicknames of all the people I want to use my room? if so how? what do people have to do themselves when they arrive at my room? A basic walk thru would help enormously. All I want to do is paste the code and for people to chat straight away with the minimum command knowledge.
October 21, 2002 at 3:05 pm #1550No you dont have to add the names of people you want to join your room. And all people have to do is type in there name at your website and hit the chat button and they will be directed to your room. And when they get there they will most likely start chatting to others that are there. Its pretty straight forward if you ask me

October 21, 2002 at 8:14 pm #1552Is the chatroom and your name registered? If your name is registered and you registerred the room, then people shouldn’t beable to change much around.

~~~Misty~~~{@ Im the little one...and mysterious oneOctober 23, 2002 at 12:45 am #1558PLEASE READ THE “CHAT ROOM FAQ” AND GO OVER THE “EPONA SERVICES” SECTIONS OF THE BOARDS. ALSO, CREATE THE “BASIC” CHAT ROOM WITH VERY LITTLE COMMAND SUPPORT THAT WAY OTHERS WON’T HAVE ACCESS TO THEM COMMANDS. YOU COULD PLACE THE ADVANCED CODE ON A PAGE ONLY YOU KNOW ABOUT.
