With some luck I’ll be upgrading the java chat room software this year. Not all color options and other features will carry over to the new software but there will be more “point and click” functionality with the new software including the ability to be in multiple rooms at the same time. Somewhere down the road it may be required that all chatters be registered prior to chatting. The ability to change one’s nickname while chatting will be removed. This is to help control any users that may be disruptive on the network.
