Ok. I will try to explain as much detail as I can about what is happening.

I created a ‘public’ chat room on my site. I can enter the chat room from my home computer just fine. I asked a couple of friends to join me (via email…giving them the link to the page the room is on) and they can get the page but when they try to sign on, they just get the same page with the word done in the lower left corner of the browser…no chat room popup.

I originally signed in to my chat room with the id that I used on this site and so thought that it might be required. So I asked them to try signing up for an id here and try again. Still the same result.

I then tried signing in with just my name (from my home computer). That worked fine too. Then today I tried to sign in from my office computer…and I got the same result that they had received…just a done in the lower left corner of the browser. The Web page does not change…it still shows the chat entry screen the same way as it is originally and it has the name that I placed in the box still there. Just no popup.

OH, btw, i thought at first that it might be that both my friends were on AOL but my office computer is a T1 one line and it can not enter the chat room either.
