Hey Dave Cinfox Again Do You need some help with fixing the text to where we can change the size of it and the font maybe? I might be of assistance to you if you need a little help I would love to see those two features added it would really be great since all my members are old and blind lol they dont want to use the chat room. They like it’s just that they cant see the type to good!

I know how to do it. Just need time to do it. Once I have everyone’s code stored locally in the MySQL database it will be easier to update and add options.

I don’t know how difficult it would be, but are you considering adding a button that when we click it, it lists the sound files we have in a specific folder (you could even specify the path) so that when we select it, that file will play?
Comic chat had something like that and it worked wonderfully and a lot of people enjoyed it.

I do intend on offering the abillity to upload sounds as part of the “paid” service. I just haven’t had a lot of free time lately. Have a ton of things on my “to do” list.
You can submit your chat room page to be listed by going up to the “menu” tab and selecting “Chat Room Directory” and adding a link.

Just wanted to let you know that the current basic code generator allows for font size selection. I should have the new code generator up soon which will allow for user selected sizes before they enter.

Nothing rhymes with Cindy Crawford after 9 coronas...As far as sound files go, only .au files can be played by the applet and then only those files in the applet’s working directory. If the file is not on the webserver then it will not be played. Playing .mp3, .wav or other sound files to the room can be done with other IRC clients such as mIRC or Klient. But, even so, only others with that same sound file on their own computer would be able to hear it. Otherwise one would need to stream the sound to others in the room and this is *not* possible with any IRC daemon that I am aware of. Nor do I believe that any of the standard IRC clients available support live streaming of audio in such a mode.

The old directory’s database tables have been merged into the current database but I can’t do anything with the information yet until I clean up the old software and make it work with the current database layout. The old software used the User’s name to track who owned the directory link and any star ratings to the links and now it needs to be tracked by the user’s ID number. I also need to make the link directory use the current templating system. I gotta go to florida for a week for Christmas so my wife can see her mom so maybe I can tackle this then while I’m being bored.
