I’m posting this here and now because I just recieved one such email requesting me to verify my email for Citibank. This was funny because I don’t have an account with Citibank. LoL

I suggest that if anyone is asked for verification of anything related to their credit cards that they call the card’s support phone number and go from there. Don’t do it over the web. It’s just not safe.
