Microsoft will be implimenting changes to it’s browser (Internet Explorer) in the upcoming months to avert it’s patent infringements as decided by the courts. This will affect everyone including those that do not use Internet Explorer since the patent covers all embeded objects (think java chat) in documents/pages served to browsers.

    Previous rant: Are you Infringing?

Please note that I’ll be changing the upcoming java chat rooms to keep us from infringing on the Eolas patent. The older chat rooms will be discontinued 30 days after the new chat code generator is in place. I will send out an email notice letting everyone know they can update their room’s code so there wont be any surprises when the old room’s code doesn’t work.
