Whats the code to add password protection to ur username on the actual chatroom? because otherwize everyone can logg on my username n get admin access

Hi Nissa,

You’ll want to type the following commands while in chat:

/nickserv register YourPassword YourEmailAddress

Then type this to register your room while you have an @ next to your nick:

/chanserv register #YourRoomName YourPassword RoomDescription

Then from there on you’ll need to identify with NickServ before requesting channel operator status by using the following commands:

/nickserv identify YourPassword

/chanserv op
